OUR STORY
Back in Fall of 2017 I started making dice. It started as a one of my many hobbies, just something to do to keep myself busy. But it kept growing. By late 2019, my friends and even my mother encouraged me enough and gave me a push to start selling my dice. So I opened my shop on January 1, 2020 and Hell Strange Dice was born.
I didn't think dice making was going to be become my full time job. I didn't think it was possible. But I was proven wrong.
Because I love the ttrpg space so much I started writing a dnd 5e magazine, Strange Press in 2021. As of 2023, I have a deity book in the works. This community has become something I love and cherish so much. It still blows my mind that people buy my dice.
Strange Arcanum is the banner under which both Hella Strange Dice and Strange Press run wild with possibilities, today, we are a family-run handmade dice, art, and publishing brand that still does things the same way as we always have. We have a fierce passion for what we do and we make sure that it shows in each new thing we produce.
When it comes down to it all of this is run by one person. So hi! I'm Amanda. I'm the one who makes your dice and packs em up and so forth. Once in a while some of my friends are cool and pop down to help clean dice. But most of the time it's just me. So if you're emailing us or reaching out I'll be the one who will be getting back to you. I am the all-in-one owner/ maker/ customer service/ etc.
